The February meeting of the Mac Users Group will be held next Monday, February 1st, at 6:30 p.m. in the NWF State College Student Services Center — Room 130. I am attaching a map. I suggest you park near the back of the bldg. and come in on the ground floor.
I’m sending this reminder a couple of days early, so you’ll have time to download the program John Leake, our Feb. presenter, will be using and to give you time to play with it.
John will be presenting a program on “Pixelmator for Mac” — a powerful, fast, and easy-to-use image editor. John says, it lets you enhance and touch up photos, sketch, draw and paint, add text and shapes, apply dazzling effects and do so much more. He reports that Pixelmator is built and developed from the ground up for the Mac, taking full advantage of the latest OS X features and technologies. He wants to make sure you know that Pixelmator has a free 30 day trial available for download from their website www.pixelmator.com/mac/ and thought it might be good to let you know about it before Monday, in case you wanted to download it to follow along with him during the class. I am attaching the photo he plans to use in his demonstration, so you can use the same photo as he demonstrates the program in class.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their Mac devices.
If at any time you want your name removed from this mailing list, just let me know.
I am looking for a presenter/program for our March 7th program,
